A bike carnival will be held in Polotsk district

The youth cycling carnival "Summer in Full Swing - Pedal Away" will be held in the village of Farinovo, Polotsk District on August 8, the press service of the local district executive committee reported.

All young people wishing to participate can take part in the race. But there are two conditions: a carnival costume and a colorfully decorated bicycle.

Winners will receive diplomas and memorable gifts in the nominations "National Flavor", "Best Children's Bicycle", "Eco-Bike" (decorated using leaves, flowers, branches, etc.), "Fairy Tale Bike" (resembling the two-wheeled transport of a movie or cartoon character).

Applications for participation in the cycling show are accepted until August 6. More than 20 people have already declared their intention to surprise the audience with their originality. The organizers assure that the spectators will see a bright spectacle.

"The cycling carnival is held with the aim of attracting youth to sports and useful leisure activities in rural areas, as well as improving cycling skills," the executive committee noted.

Organizers are the Department of Ideological Work, Culture and Youth Affairs of the District Executive Committee and the District Cultural Center.
