A mask regime will be introduced in the Polotsk region from November 11
The norm is prescribed in today's decision of the Polotsk District Executive Committee. This is due to the epidemic situation, as well as the disregard by residents of doctors' advice and the neglect of personal protective equipment in public places. From the moment the decision is made, the use of masks is mandatory.
"This measure applies universally to all organizations regardless of ownership. Masks must be worn when entering shops, shopping centers, catering establishments, healthcare, culture, education, sports, and social service institutions. Compliance with the mask regime is also mandatory when visiting administrative buildings, post offices, banks, service facilities, and pharmacies. Passengers of public transport (including route taxis and taxis) must wear masks. The organization and direct control over the use of respiratory protective equipment and the implementation of other preventive measures (social distancing, availability of antiseptics, entry control, etc.) are assigned to the heads of enterprises and organizations," the message says.
Also, from November 11, the number of mass events in the Polotsk district will be maximally reduced. Planning meetings, working meetings, and negotiations are ordered to be conducted remotely.
