The rural "Super Bride" will become the face of Polotsk region for a year.
The best rural bride of Polotsk district will be determined on August 8 in the village of Farinovo, the press service of the Polotsk District Executive Committee reported. The girls' external and personal qualities, as well as their skills and abilities, will be evaluated based on the results of 12 contests. The contenders for the title of super bride will be asked to solve economic problems, change a baby's diaper, prepare lunch, demonstrate knowledge in medicine and car driving skills. Of course, the girls' costumes, hairstyles, and manners will not be overlooked.
The best of the best will receive the title "Super Bride" and will be invited to all district events for a year, participating in video shoots and photo sessions. "It is planned that the competition will become an annual event, and photographs of Polotsk "Super Brides" from different years will adorn the foyer of the registry office in the city of Polotsk," the press service noted.
Overall, August 8 in Farinovo will be filled with diverse events. A bicycle carnival will be held here, as well as the "Best Guy in the Village" competition. The settlement will feature a presentation of an open-air fairy-tale figure glade "Chudograd", a speed-eating contest of Belarusian potato pancakes, an art space "Boulevard of Arts", a "Vocal Ring" competition, street dance master classes, an energetic evening flash mob, a film screening of a family comedy, a youth disco, and more.
