A freestyle wrestling hall for young athletes has been opened in Postavy

The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Alexander Subbotin, Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Nikolai Sherstnev, representatives of local authorities, and the national wrestling federation.

The trainees recently moved into a new building located in the city center at 30 Krasnoarmeyskaya Street. Renovation began here in November 2020. The hall, men's and women's locker rooms with showers were reconfigured and equipped, and a coaches' room was created. The sports hall is equipped with the necessary inventory (Swedish walls, punching bags, benches, balls, strength training equipment), a wrestling mat, and three special dummies have been purchased.

To select trainees and conduct classes, a qualified coach was invited – Master of Sports in Freestyle Wrestling Andrey Kryukovsky. Groups of boys and girls have already been formed – about 100 children in total.
