In Postavy, issues on involving unused state property of the region into economic circulation were considered
At the field meeting of the commission for the involvement of unused state property into economic circulation, held on August 18 in Postavy, chaired by the Deputy Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee Matskevich Oleg Sergeevich and with the participation of deputy chairmen of all district and city executive committees, a number of issues concerning the efficiency of state property use in the Vitebsk region were considered.
In the current year, the Vitebsk region holds a leading position in the number of objects involved in economic circulation, and the percentage of objects involved is increasing every year. However, the number of unused objects in the Vitebsk region is also the largest – 382 such objects in the current year.
This number of objects is due to objects transferred to district ownership from bankrupt enterprises, as well as vacated social facilities in villages (kindergartens, schools). This is despite the fact that even before bankruptcy, executive committees actively assist interim managers in finding a receiving party for vacated facilities.
As a result of the work carried out as of August 17 of the current year, 78 objects, or 22 percent, have been involved in economic circulation, of which 60 objects have been sold, 8 have been leased, 10 have been transferred free of charge within communal property, as well as into private ownership. 34 buildings and structures have been written off (demolished and dismantled), and 2 objects are used for their own purposes.
The positive work of Postavy, Polotsk, and Chashniki districts in involving unused property in economic circulation was noted, and the participants of the meeting were directed to use the positive experience of these district executive committees in their work.
The leaders in involving unused objects in economic circulation are Gluboksky district (40%), Chashniksky district (41%), and the city of Novopolotsk (50%).
To all chairmen of city and district executive committees, regional bodies
management and property owners were instructed to take measures to fulfill the calendar schedules for the involvement of unused state property in economic circulation. Also at the commission meeting, information from the Vitebsk Regional Prosecutor's Office on the state of legality and law and order in the Vitebsk region in the first half of 2021 was reviewed, specifically regarding the work carried out to involve unused state property in economic circulation.
The commission visited the Postavy district to see in practice how objects have changed after being involved in economic circulation.
