Only a few days remain until the festival's call signs will be heard on the main stage of the "Slavianski Bazaar" – the Summer Amphitheatre. Preparations for the forum's opening are in full swing here, including security measures checks.

– Currently, installation work is underway on the stage, which, as always, will be special. Its design has never been repeated in 30 years. The dressing rooms are ready, and the final touches are being made, – said Andrey Karpov, head of the "Summer Amphitheatre" branch of the "Vitebsk Culture Center" institution. – Beauty is also being brought to the area around the amphitheatre, with assistance from the Vitebsk Zelensrtroy municipal enterprise, which is preparing a number of surprises for the residents and guests of the regional center. Of course, the safety of the festival guests is important. Every year, before the festival, the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations conducts large-scale tactical special exercises on the amphitheatre grounds. This year is no exception.

Vitebsk rescuers demonstrated coordination and professionalism, extinguishing a simulated fire and providing assistance to the injured. More than 40 Ministry of Emergency Situations employees and 11 units of equipment were involved in the exercises.

– The preparation of rescuers for the opening of the XXX International Festival of Arts "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" began on June 9. Operational plans, fire extinguishing algorithms, and evacuation procedures were practiced at all festival venues, – reported the head of the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Sergey Meleshkin. – A total of more than 50 sites were inspected, and relevant training was conducted at 16 of them. All this was done in close cooperation with other city services. During the festival, the department's employees will switch to an enhanced work mode, and everyone will be ready at any time of the day to provide necessary assistance to both residents and guests of Vitebsk.
