Within the framework of the Belarusian Industrial Forum–2014, the 4th Subcontracting Exchange will be held

On May 20, 2014, from 12:00 to 15:00, within the framework of the Belarusian Industrial Forum – 2014, the 4th Subcontracting Exchange will be held.

The purpose of organizing the subcontracting exchange in industry is to conduct prepared negotiations between authorized representatives of the customer enterprise and potential suppliers on the issues of manufacturing and supplying products, components, assemblies, and parts.

Participation in the exchange is free of charge.

The main advantages of participating in the subcontracting exchange:

A large contractor (customer) enterprise gets the opportunity to place an order, as well as the opportunity:

to reduce time costs associated with searching and selecting qualified suppliers capable of fulfilling the order in accordance with the customer's technical specification, on time, with the required level of quality and meeting all necessary requirements;

to resolve the issue of organizing preliminary negotiations on cooperation and subcontracting, as negotiations can be held directly at the subcontracting exchange;

to provide complete and reliable information about its production capacities, workload, work experience, etc., for participation in the exchange, by filling out the enterprise's qualification card;

to form an adequate price based on the competition mechanism of potential suppliers,

to concentrate efforts and resources on strategic areas of activity;

to reduce delivery times for the production of new products, expand the model range of manufactured products;

of refusal from non-core, auxiliary production;

reduction of other costs, etc.

For a subcontractor enterprise (executor, supplier, contractor), the use of subcontracting allows to search for orders,
as well as:

to receive additional orders for the utilization of production capacities;

to become a supplier of parts;

to become a participant in direct negotiations with the customer ("contractor") without intermediaries within the framework of the subcontract exchange;

to increase the level of specialization in the most efficient production processes, etc.

First stage of the subcontract exchange:  sending Customer questionnaires to the Department for Entrepreneurship of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Belarus via e-mail: d-business@main.gov.by with the subject “Customer Questionnaire”.

The Department for Entrepreneurship of the Ministry of Economy processes the received questionnaires and posts orders on the website: www.economy.gov.by in the "Current" section.

Small and medium-sized enterprises wishing to participate in the exchange as a subcontractor (supplier, service provider, contractor, sub-contractor) have the opportunity to select a production order, fill out a qualification card of the subcontractor enterprise and send it by e-mail: d-business@main.gov.by with the subject line "Subcontractor Questionnaire".

Second stage of the subcontract exchange: Within the framework of the subcontract exchange, on May 20, 2014 (12:00 – 15:00), negotiations between customers and subcontractors will take place
at the address: Republic of Belarus, Minsk, Pobediteley Avenue, 20/2, football arena, subcontract exchange hall.
