As part of charity events, hundreds of children from the Vitebsk region received gifts for the start of the school year

Thus, the trade union committee and the primary organization of the BRSM of the "Vitba" confectionery factory, as well as the teaching staff of Vitebsk Secondary School No. 23, organized a sweet treat for boys and girls from large and low-income families.

– In addition to treats from our factory, the children received sets of stationery, which they will need during their studies. A pleasant surprise for them was a soap bubble show, – said Andrey Brovko, secretary of the primary organization of the BRSM of the enterprise, adding that the confectionery factory is a regular participant in charitable and social projects.

The director of the educational institution, Valentina Klimentionok, noted that the teachers and the entire staff of the school gladly joined the initiative to help collect schoolbags for students for the new academic year. More than 20 families, whose children attend Secondary School No. 23, received gifts.

Also, the traditional charity event "To School with a Kind Heart!" was widely held in the Vitebsk region. BRSM volunteers collected and presented stationery to children with disabilities, children from needy large and single-parent families, as well as those whose parents are in difficult life situations and cannot independently provide minors with the necessary school supplies. In total, more than 100 children from different regions of the country received help from "Kind Heart". The event will continue until September 15, and its results will be summarized later.

Last year, volunteers of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union in the Vitebsk region collected and handed over more than 20 thousand rubles worth of stationery to those in need.
