In Rossony, 40 families received apartments in a new building
– Over the past few years, five apartment buildings with a total area of more than 8 thousand square meters have been commissioned in the district center. 150 families became new residents, of which 11 received social apartments. Currently, 306 people are registered as needing to improve their housing conditions, including 29 large families, 43 orphans and children left without parental care, – explained Alexander Shubsky, Chairman of the Rossony District Executive Committee, who, together with the management of trust №16, initiated the construction of the 40-apartment building.
The building has adorned the central part of the urban settlement. The location was determined by future residents, whose interests coincided with the urban development plan. The new building fits perfectly into the landscape.
The chairman of the regional Council of Deputies Vladimir Terentyev and the deputy chairman of the regional executive committee Vladimir Belous arrived in Rossony for the housewarming celebration. Handing over the keys to the new residents, the head of the Vitebsk region's deputy corps emphasized the importance of this event not only for the people who are receiving new, well-equipped apartments but also for the district center. Thanks to the implemented housing policy, young people are staying in the urban settlement, and it is becoming a permanent place of residence for young specialists who have come here from other regions of Belarus. In particular, 4 apartments in the new building have been allocated for the latter. Large families, orphans, low-income citizens, and those with priority rights, as well as those who have expressed a desire to improve their housing conditions, have also moved in.
Vladimir Belous also congratulated the new residents, emphasizing that with the commissioning of the house in Rossony, the region has completed its annual housing construction plan ahead of schedule.
