In Rossony, the second building of the district polyclinic was opened after major repairs
As explained by Olga Latsuzbaya, acting chief physician of the Rossony Central District Hospital, previously sick and healthy children were seen in one building. Now the flows have been separated. The "Healthy Child" room will remain in its usual place, and assistance for children with fever and other ailments will be provided in a separate building.
It has been completely modernized, with only the walls remaining from the old one. The roof and floors have been replaced, and new utilities have been installed. The administration will also move here, occupying part of the building with a separate entrance.
– This is an important event for us, as it is related to improving the service for young patients. Children are our future, and it must be healthy. As an obstetrician-gynecologist, I am always happy about the appearance of new life. Seeing the care of the state and local authorities for children, families, especially young ones, think more about replenishing their cell of society, – noted Olga Mikhailovna.
The district polyclinic serves over 1.5 thousand children. In addition to Rossony, two pediatricians work in the Klyastitskaya and Krasnopolskaya general practice outpatient clinics.
The reconstruction was carried out at the expense of the district budget, as well as funds earned from subbotniks (voluntary workdays).
– On the eve of state holidays, it is customary to open significant facilities. It is important that this happens not only in large cities but also in small district centers. There are young people here, for whom it is worth doing this. Today, special attention is paid to the care of the younger generation, as well as to the elderly and the working-age population. Our state is socially oriented, and work in this regard will be carried out systematically and constantly, – emphasized Vladimir Terentyev, Chairman of the Regional Council of Deputies, who came to Rossony to share the holiday with local residents.
The head of the deputy corps recalled that he had visited the Rossony hospital on such good occasions more than once. In recent years, the Central District Hospital has undergone a global modernization. The roof of the main building and the children's department have been replaced, the surgical and infectious disease departments have been renovated, and the reconstruction of the fluorography room for the installation of the "Pulmoscan 760" X-ray machine has been completed. The next step is the renovation of the central building, where the foundation has subsided in some places.
– The design and estimate documentation for strengthening the foundation has already been ordered. As soon as it is ready, we will start the work. Our hospital stands guard over people's health, so we will create comfortable conditions for both medical staff and patients, – said the Chairman of the Rossony District Executive Committee, Vladimir Bykov.
It is not only doctors who heal, but also the walls, if they are native and built with care for people.
