The accident occurred on March 30 in the dark near the village of Rybnoye. A KIA car hit a cyclist, a local resident born in 1965. As a result, he died. The cyclist was moving in the oncoming lane. More detailed circumstances are being clarified.
The traffic police remind that every bicycle must be equipped with reflectors (white in front, red in the back, orange on the sides), and it is better to refrain from riding this type of transport in the dark altogether. If a cyclist is forced to ride on the road late at night, there should be a white light on the front of their two-wheeled vehicle and a red light on the back.
In addition, the State Automobile Inspectorate reported that on the same day late in the evening, near the village of Polna in the Mogilev region, a Volkswagen Golf car hit a pensioner born in 1949, who died at the scene. For unknown reasons, the pedestrian was standing right in the middle of the roadway without marking himself with reflective elements. -0-
