The first "School of Peace" has appeared in the Senno district
The ceremony was attended by Vyacheslav Durnov, Deputy Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Oleg Makarevich, Chairman of the Sennensky District Executive Committee, Tatyana Tumanova, Chairperson of the Vitebsk Regional Branch of the Belarusian Peace Foundation, and others.
"In the Year of Peace and Creation, this is a very significant event in the history of your school. Much is being done by adults today to ensure peace and tranquility in our land. But do not forget that this duty – to preserve peace – will soon be in your hands. And always remember the words of our anthem: 'We, Belarusians, are a peaceful people'," Vyacheslav Durnov noted during the ceremony.
An excursion around the school was also organized for the guests.
