In Senno, cats are decorated for the Year of the Tiger, not Christmas trees

You can't get all these rare and dangerous animals, so the residents of Senno (Vitebsk region) decided to replace the predators with their more friendly younger relatives - cats, the Senno District Executive Committee told a BELTA correspondent. The initiative of local enthusiasts to celebrate the New Year in the company of dressed-up pets quickly caught on with the residents of Senno. The youngest part of the population embraced it with particular delight. The kids are enthusiastically coming up with New Year's costumes, outfits, festive makeup, and decorations for their pet tigers. Everything will be used: colorful tinsel, hats, beads, ribbons. There is no doubt that on the eve of the holiday, the bright lights of the forest beauties, traditionally installed in the most honorable place, will look quite dim against the background of the newly appeared dandies. All attention on this day will be given to the cats. And as compensation for some inconvenience, the pets will receive a portion of treats befitting their New Year's status and a lot of affection. -0-
