Traffic has opened on the new bridge over the Yanka River in Sharkovshchina

Traffic has opened on a new bridge across the Yanka River in Sharkovshchina, at the exit from the town towards Miory.

The renovated bridge will enhance comfort for drivers and pedestrians: after the repair, the width of the roadway and sidewalks has been increased.

At the grand opening of the facility, the head of the district, Dmitry Lomako, congratulated the residents of Sharkovshchina on the long-awaited event and thanked all participants in the construction – bridge construction department No. 5 "Mostostroy" of Vitebsk, LLC "Ekomost" of Minsk, the Capital Construction Department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, the branch of DSOU-26 DST-1 of Vitebsk – for their high-quality and conscientious work.

The honor of being the first to drive across the new bridge was given to the honorary road worker of the BSSR and the Republic of Belarus, former head of Sharkovshchina DSOU No. 26, Nikolai Kosar.
