Heating has been turned on in social institutions of the Vitebsk region
On October 2, heating was turned on in all social institutions of the Vitebsk region. This was decided by the regional working group on optimizing heat supply modes, as reported to a BELTA correspondent by the Department of Housing and Communal Services of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee.
Heat began to be supplied to schools and preschool institutions, medical and social security institutions, museums, libraries, and state archives of the region. The decision was made in accordance with the rules regarding heat consumers of the first group - the average daily temperature for five days is below 10 degrees Celsius.
In the residential sector, heating will be turned on when the average daily temperature has been below 8 degrees Celsius for five consecutive days. It is possible that heating will begin to be supplied to homes as early as Monday, if the thermometer does not rise in the coming days. There are no other obstacles for this: all boiler houses and heat energy consumers have received readiness passports.
