Currently, a database of temporary jobs open for the summer period is being formed. Trade and public catering enterprises are ready to hire students as sales assistants, kitchen workers, and waiters for outdoor facilities. In the summer, students will be welcomed at a foreign woodworking enterprise and a road construction trust, as well as in construction organizations. It is possible that territorial employment centers will invite young people to assist elderly and disabled people at home. At the beginning of this year, at the suggestion of students, which they expressed at a meeting with the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Alexander Kosinets, a sector for promoting the employment of student youth began operating in the city employment service. Its employees help young people find work in their free time from studies. Since the beginning of the year, more than 120 people have applied to the sector for employment assistance. In winter, "Gordormost" readily hired students - more than 20 people cleared snow and chopped ice on the city streets. The sewing enterprise "Trud" is constantly interested in student assistance and is even ready to train them in sewing.
