In the urban settlement of Surazh, a bridge over the Kasplya River, which flows into the Western Dvina, has been opened after reconstruction.
The commissioning of the facility is dedicated to the 79th anniversary of the liberation of the settlement from Nazi invaders and the 105th anniversary of the October Revolution. The Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies, Vladimir Terentyev, noted that the bridge is an important facility for the residents of the settlement. He thanked the designers and builders who carried out the repair work for a year.
A festive procession to the sounds of a military band became a bright finale of the event. And then, a rally was held near the military memorial located in the settlement.
