Representatives from over 10 banks operating in the region attended the meeting.

Participants emphasized the vulnerability of all population groups to fraudulent activities and the use of the banking sector in carrying out such actions.

"The proposed additional comprehensive preventive measures on the analyzed issue, and the enhancement of interaction between banking and law enforcement agencies in countering fraudulent activities, are designed to protect citizens' rights, including during the issuance of loans. Ensuring a high level of customer protection against fraudulent actions will contribute to strengthening the image of banks," noted Vladimir Guk in his speech.

Based on the results of the meeting, a series of preventive measures aimed at identifying and suppressing fraudulent activities have been developed and proposed for implementation by banking organizations.
