A new court building has been constructed in Ushachy
Today, the staff of the Ushaсhy District Court are celebrating housewarming. They are moving into a new two-story building erected on Sovetskaya Street.
Previously, the district court was located in an old residential building on Bazarnaya Street. There were only three rooms. The archive was housed in a shed. And the courtroom, incidentally, with stove heating, occupied a room in an adjacent building.
The Ministry of Justice and the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee understood that the servants of Themis needed improved working conditions. The new facility was included in the State Investment Program. More than 19 billion rubles were invested in its construction, which lasted from 2011 to 2014.
Today, according to Natalia Platonenko, assistant to the chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Court, it meets all modern requirements:
- Now our colleagues in Ushaсhy have not only two courtrooms but also a lounge. A dedicated server has been installed in the new premises for storing a large volume of statistical information and databases. All workstations in the service offices are computerized.
Visitors have not been forgotten either. For their convenience, the enforcement service and the notary office have also moved into the new premises. Previously, they were located at different addresses.
The chairman of the Supreme Court, Valentin Sukalo, and the chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Kosinets, are expected to attend the opening ceremony of the new Ushaсhy District Court building.
