Under the EAEU conditions, Belarusian producers will have to ensure product competitiveness - A. Kosinets

December 10, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. In the conditions of the functioning of the Single Economic Space (SES), Belarusian producers need to ensure the competitiveness of their products. This was stated today at a regular session of the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies by the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Alexander Kosinets, BELTA correspondent reports. The SES will allow not only the free movement of Belarusian goods across the territory of Russia and Kazakhstan, but will also open access for goods from these countries to Belarus - there will be no barriers in trade. In this regard, Alexander Kosinets considers it necessary to revise the business plans of the region's enterprises, paying close attention to reducing the cost of production and competent formation of pricing policy. "In 2011, a huge amount of work is to be done to ensure the competitiveness of domestic products," Alexander Kosinets emphasized. Enterprises of the Vitebsk region have been set tasks for 2011 to bring the energy saving indicator to minus 12%, and to increase the share of innovative products in the total volume of production to 21%. -0-
