The agro-town of Volyntsy was supplied with gas in the Verkhnedvinsk district

Natural gas has reached another settlement in the Verkhnedvinsk district thanks to the State Program "Comfortable Housing and a Conducive Environment". This time, it is the village of Volyntsy, the center of the rural council of the same name. In just one month, the contractor, Belgazstroy OJSC, with the efforts of UP Polotskselstroy, laid a gas pipeline almost 6 kilometers long to the settlement. 136 apartments and several cottage-type houses were converted to natural gas. A cooperative has already been formed by private homeowners who wish to replace liquefied fuel cylinders with natural gas.

Honored guests at the solemn event dedicated to the launch of the gas pipeline included the Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee Nikolai Sherstnev, the Chairman of the District Executive Committee Vasily Shilov, a member of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, General Director of PP "Beltopgaz" Alexey Kushnarenko, and General Director of PRUP "Vitebskoblgaz" Petr Shershen. They were entrusted with lighting the symbolic torch.

- Civilization must reach rural areas, - emphasized Nikolai Sherstnev at the festive ceremony. - Gas is comfort. And for the authorities and heads of organizations, blue fuel is primarily about economics. An example is the farms that received it 3-5 years ago. They already have completely different production, and local businesses are emerging. There are enough vacant premises in the countryside. Private investors come, create production, and jobs. The village comes alive. It must have infrastructure that satisfies rural residents. What is available in the city should also be available in the village. But everything must be created by ourselves. This also applies to the staff of Prudinki OJSC, the owner of this land.

To confirm this, a cafe was opened in Volyntsy on the same day. The farm renovated a vacant building with its own funds, purchased equipment and furniture, and opened a catering facility with 50 seats, spending 150,000 rubles for these purposes.

- The cafe will be the cheapest in the district, - promised the director of the agricultural enterprise Vasily Krasnik.

JSC "Prudinki" is among the strong enterprises in Verkhnedvinsk region. The company consistently focuses on production development and improvement of working conditions for its employees. Currently, several livestock facilities are under construction using the company's own resources. These facilities will feature not only modern livestock management technology but also significantly improved working conditions for people. The Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, accompanied by district and farm managers, as well as representatives from "Beltopgaz," also inspected these sites.
