In Vitebsk, the finalists of the Ministry of Internal Affairs' republican campaign "Family! We Serve Together!" were honored.

A good, strong family is an important component of success in the professional activities of internal affairs officers. This was stated in Vitebsk to journalists by the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs for Ideological Work and Personnel Support, Alexander Kobrusev. The finalists of the Ministry of Internal Affairs' republican campaign "Family! We Serve Together!" were honored in the regional center.

"For a police officer, a good, strong family is practically half the success in their service. Our employees have a very high workload. Family is a refuge, it is there that we receive support, positive emotions, and rest. The stronger the family, the more effective the professional activity," the Deputy Minister is convinced.

He noted that the "Family! We Serve Together!" campaign is being held in Belarus for the tenth time. Traditionally, the final takes place on the eve of Mother's Day. Before that, selections are organized in all regions. "It is not at all necessary for both spouses to serve in the police. The main thing is that it is a real family - strong, friendly. One in which family values and Belarusian traditions are honored," said Alexander Kobrusev. Of course, among the finalist families, there are quite a few where husband and wife serve in the police. "It is undoubtedly more difficult for them, especially for women. But wives and mothers manage not only to serve well but also to raise children wonderfully," the Deputy Minister summed up.

This year, about three hundred families took part in the qualifying stages (reviews and competitions of territorial internal affairs bodies, formations, and units of the internal troops of the republic). 14 reached the final (from the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Minsk City Executive Committee, Internal Affairs Directorates of regional executive committees, educational institutions, departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Security and Penal Enforcement, as well as the Ministry of Internal Affairs' internal troops). They were chosen for their active life position, contribution to the preservation and development of service traditions, and assistance in organizing joint leisure activities for police officers and their loved ones.

The honoring of the finalists of the Ministry of Internal Affairs' republican campaign "Family! We Serve Together!" took place in the "Vitebsk" concert hall. The families were presented with letters of appreciation, diplomas, and gifts. The celebration concluded with a concert program.
