In Vitebsk, the best students of educational institutions in the field of culture were honored
The ceremony honoring young talents was held at the I. Sollerinsky Vitebsk Music College as part of the regional forum of young cultural workers "Modern Culture: New Challenges – New Heights." It is attended by employees of library and museum spheres, club activities, and educational institutions in the field of culture aged up to 35 years. Such an event was held in Vitebsk for the first time. However, the awarding of prizes to young talents at the end of the academic year has become traditional.
– Significant attention is always paid to the social sphere – education, culture, sports. It is important that we not only invest money in the development of the material base, the construction of new and renovation of existing facilities, the purchase of musical instruments, and equipment, but also provide financial support to talented youth. We hope that small stars will grow into true masters of their craft. And we will be proud that we noticed and supported young talents, – noted the Chairman of the Regional Council of Deputies Vladimir Terentyev.
The list of awardees for high creative achievements based on the results of last year includes sixteen representatives of colleges, music schools, and art schools from all regions of Vitebsk Oblast. Among them is Sofiya Svezhinskaya, a student of the Vitebsk Music College named after I. Sollertinsky, a winner of many city, regional, republican, and international competitions.
“I am studying the domra. I really like this instrument, a love for which was instilled in me from childhood. I gladly participate in various competitions, and I am proud that I receive first places and Grand Prix awards. I am grateful to the teachers who invest so much effort in their students and lead them to victory,” said Sofiya.
After the award ceremony, a festive concert was held with the participation of laureates of the regional prize and scholarship holders of the President's Fund.
