The regional youth educational Internet forum has been launched in Vitebsk

В Витебске дан старт областному молодежному образовательному Интернет-форуму
A two-day event is organized as part of the Forum of Young Leaders of Russia and Belarus. More than 50 people took part in it – representatives from all regions of the Vitebsk region, who passed a competitive selection. During the forum, they will acquire useful skills in working with internet media, social networks, etc. Master classes will be held in a blended format (online and offline). Some of them will be organized on the ZOOM platform. In the offline format, experts will include representatives of the public association "Leaders of International Cooperation" Alexander Tyurchev and Andrey Tkachenko.

Chairman of the Regional Council of Deputies Vladimir Terentyev emphasized that Russian specialists have been invited to the forum, who will conduct a series of master classes on working in social networks, in particular, on Telegram channels.

– You are simply lucky to participate in the forum and gain new and useful information, as unique specialists are acting as speakers today. I wish you success and may all your plans come true, – added Vladimir Vladimirovich.

During the opening of the forum, an Agreement on Cooperation was signed between the Main Department of Ideological Work and Youth Affairs of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee and the public association "Leaders of International Cooperation". The parties discussed further prospects for the development of cooperation in the field of youth policy.

Evgeny Zakharenkov, a board member of the autonomous non-profit organization "Leaders of International Cooperation," noted that joint work with the Vitebsk region has been ongoing for about six years. According to him, Russian youth readily respond and participate in patriotic events. Belarus and Russia share a common history, a common great tragedy – the Great Patriotic War. This topic brings together the younger generation of the two fraternal states.

– We plan to organize a series of events with the participation of Belarusians in the Russian Federation and Russians in Belarus, – said Evgeny Zakharenkov. – Future plans have also been developed. Of course, first and foremost, their implementation will depend on the epidemiological situation. For example, a large Russian-Belarusian patriotic project "Road of Memory" is planned for April, which will involve about 5,000 people.

Thus, as part of the project, a motor rally will be organized, which will start from Moscow and end at the Brest Fortress. Educational seminars, meetings, forums, rallies, and much more are planned. A significant block of joint work is related to patriotic education, with great attention paid to the development of public diplomacy among the younger generation.
