In Vitebsk, ecologists are installing bird feeders on the grounds of kindergartens
Environmentalists of the regional center are installing bird feeders on the grounds of kindergartens. As reported by Sergey Lazuko, Head of the Vitebsk City Inspectorate for Natural Resources and Environmental Protection, the campaign is aimed not only at helping birds during the winter period.
The main goal is to expand and enrich children's knowledge about wintering birds, their habits, and the role of humans in the lives of feathered creatures. Currently, more than fifteen feeders have been installed, and a total of over thirty will be put up. The campaign involves OJSC "Vitebskdrev," which is responsible for their production, and UP "Rudakovo," which has undertaken the commitment to ensure the feeders are filled with seed and grain mixtures.
