The chairman of the regional commission for the election of deputies to local councils was elected in Vitebsk
Dmitry Khoma became the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Territorial Election Commission for the election of deputies to the local Councils of Deputies of the 28th convocation. His election took place today at the first organizational meeting of the commission.
Dmitry Khoma holds the position of Head of the Education Department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee. At the organizational meeting of the commission, a deputy chairman and a secretary were also elected, and duty schedules were established. In addition, the issue of forming electoral districts was considered - there are 60 of them in the region with an average number of voters of 14,569 people.
As reported, the Vitebsk Regional Election Commission for the election of deputies to the local Councils of Deputies of the 28th convocation was formed with a maximum number of 13 people. Its composition was approved on November 23 at a joint meeting of the presidium of the regional Council of Deputies and the regional executive committee.
