A granite balustrade, a railing over a hundred meters long, will soon appear opposite the Summer Amphitheater in Vitebsk from the side of Lenin Street. It is planned to complete the facility by the opening of the "Slavianski Bazaar - 2019". The other day, construction workers began dismantling the old concrete parapet, metal fence, and retaining wall. A new architectural object will appear in this place – a granite balustrade 1.2 meters high, similar to the one installed at the regional executive committee building.

Also, the supporting wall of the lower level of the complex will be faced with granite slabs, and decorative lighting will be installed. The new decoration of the main festival venue will start from the cast-iron fence along Gogol Street and extend to the staircase descent from the side of Frunze Avenue.

The general contractor for construction is SMP 715, a division of the capital's OJSC "Treст Белтрансстрой", with OJSC "Витебскторгстрой" builders on subcontract. The estimated cost of the work, financed from the city budget, is about 150 thousand rubles. According to Sergey Polsky, funding is stable, so the task has been set to complete the construction by the opening of the "Slavianski Bazaar" in July.
