In Vitebsk, a police officer saved a man who intended to jump from the 5th floor
The radio reported a domestic dispute in one of the high-rise buildings. Upon arrival at the scene, the police officers learned that a conflict had occurred between an elderly woman and her adult son. The man then threatened to commit suicide by jumping from the fifth floor. He went out onto the balcony, locked the door from the outside, and began to climb over the railing.
Vadim Shchemelev had no time to think: he had to distract the man, break the glass, and try to pull him back into the apartment. The plan worked, and soon the police handed over the disturber of the peace to a medical team. The rescuer himself also needed help – he had severe cuts.
