A court verdict has entered into force against the former chief accountant of the Vitebsk Central Sports Complex, who committed embezzlement on a large scale.
As reported by the Department for Combating Economic Crimes of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, employees of the Department for Combating Economic Crimes of the Internal Affairs Directorate and the Department for Combating Economic Crimes of the Pervomaisky District Department of Internal Affairs of Vitebsk, as a result of operational-search activities, uncovered the criminal activity of the former chief accountant of the state institution of physical culture and sports "Vitebsk CSK".
During 2013, the woman unjustifiably included herself in the payroll lists. Thus, 92.7 million rubles were stolen from the organization. Another 107 million were "earned" in the position of chief accountant of the individual entrepreneur "Global-Vitebsk". Here, during 2011-2012, the woman also without grounds included herself and her relative in the payroll lists.

The court of the Pervomaisky district of Vitebsk sentenced the former chief accountant to 5 years of imprisonment with a suspension of the sentence for three years, with a ban on holding organizational, managerial, and administrative-economic positions for five years.
