In Vitebsk, Br1 billion will be allocated for the repair of road surfaces in courtyards in 2009.
June 25, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. Br1 billion will be allocated for the repair of road surfaces in courtyards in Vitebsk this year, the chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Kosinets, announced today at a meeting of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, according to a BELTA correspondent.
The repair of road surfaces in courtyard areas is a pressing issue for the regional center. As Alexander Kosinets emphasized, despite the significant volume of work being carried out on the central streets of the city, the outskirts will not be left without attention from city services. In addition to courtyards, road surfaces on seven streets leading to the city exit will be replaced in the near future.
Funds for the capital repair of streets and courtyards were obtained through savings of budget funds. At the same time, there is no reallocation of funds to the central streets by reducing costs for the outskirts, Alexander Kosinets emphasized. Thus, the planned costs for the completion of the reconstruction of the outlying Gagarin Street amounted to Br40 billion and will be allocated in full. -0-
