Today, the installation and erection of a 69-meter flagpole took place in Vitebsk at the construction site of the Coat of Arms and Flag Square.

- The 17-ton flagpole was made in Turkey and is constructed from galvanized iron, - Sergey Shalapaev, Deputy Director of CJSC "Kvant," told "VV." - It arrived in Vitebsk disassembled. Our company assembled the flagpole on the construction site for its erection and installation.

Meanwhile, as Sergey Polsky, Chief Engineer of the Vitebsk Capital Construction Department (UKS), told "VV," all engineering work at the Flag and Coat of Arms Square has been completed. Specifically, the foundation has been laid and concrete poured. All electrical supply lines have been routed to the monitors. The remaining tasks include laying the granite pavement and installing the screen and interactive panels.
