Vitebsk has begun installing the region's main New Year tree
It seems that the beloved holiday for children and adults is unthinkable without a fluffy green beauty in the city center. Several housing and communal services enterprises are working to ensure that it "grows" beautifully and on time.
On November 20, workers of the repair and construction department of the boiler and heating networks enterprise began assembling the metal frame – the basis of the New Year symbol – on the site prepared and fenced off by specialists from "Gordormost".
Then, the green space workers will bring the frame to life with almost three hundred fir trees from the Surazh forestry, and electricians from "Gorsvet" will decorate the main New Year tree of the region with garlands, so that it will delight Vitebsk residents and city guests with festive illumination.
