In Vitebsk, laureates of five professional competitions were awarded based on the results of work for 2020
The recipients of the regional executive committee award for achievements in quality were OJSC "Vitebsk Oil Extraction Plant", "Keramika", "Vitebskhlebprom", "Postavy Dairy Plant", unitary enterprises "Glubokoye Meat Processing Plant" and "Verkhniy Lug" (Verkhnedvinsk district).
The "Best Goods of the Republic of Belarus" competition has been held by the State Committee for Standardization together with the regional executive committee since 2002. Based on the results of 2020, 21 enterprises became its laureates, a third of which achieved double and even triple success. For example, the "Marko" holding became the winner in three more nominations: "Best in the Industry", "Best in the Region", and "Stable Success", and Glubokoye Meat Processing Plant - "New Product of the Year". Three more enterprises, in addition to awards for the best product, were awarded diplomas for "Stable Quality".
The Vitebsk Regional Union of Employers has summed up the results of the traditional competitions for the honorary titles "Best Manager of the Year", "Best Design Engineer", and "Best Scientific Developer". Among the laureates are directors of enterprises and organizations from 6 districts, Vitebsk, and Novopolotsk. The recipients of the commemorative sign and honorary diploma are Vera Zakrevskaya (State Enterprise "Children's Rehabilitation and Health Center "Zhemchuzhina"), Yuri Doylin (OJSC "Vitebskdrev"), Pavel Manak (OJSC "Obolsky Ceramic Plant"), Pavel Sluchak (OJSC "Orsha Aircraft Repair Plant"), Valery Lappo (OJSC "Glubokoye Dairy and Canning Plant"), Mikhail Eleshevich (Novopolotsk Installation Department of OJSC "Trust Belsantechmontazh No. 1"), Egor Knotko (branch "Polotsk Power Grids" of RUP "Vitebskenergo"), Oleg Kaptsevich (OJSC "Road Construction Trust No. 1, Vitebsk"), Vladimir Zhukov (State Enterprise "Institute Vitebskselstroyproekt"), Evgeny Drabo (PU "Orshagaz" RUP "Vitebskoblgaz"), Viktor Gribov (UP ZhKH Liozno District), as well as Rector of Vitebsk State Technological University Andrey Kuznetsov.
The honorary title "Best Design Engineer of Vitebsk Region 2020" was awarded to Dmitry Mikhailov, head of the installation and technical bureau of OJSC "Naftan", and Alexander Kodlubay, deputy chief engineer for equipment at OOO "PO "Energokomplekt". The best scientific developer of Vitebsk Region 2020 is Konstantin Kubrakov, associate professor of the Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery at Vitebsk State Medical University, who has over 150 scientific publications, 10 invention patents, and 7 rationalization proposals to his credit.
