Vitebsk named the laureates of the title "Man of the Year of the Vitebsk Region Gas Industry - 2018"
It is not easy to get into the list of laureates, as there are no random people in the gas industry, each of them is a specialist of the highest level. It is also difficult for the evaluation commission, which needs to consider the professional and moral qualities of a person and their achieved production indicators.
This year, dozens of gas workers were honored with this prestigious award. The best were determined in several nominations, as UP "Vitebskoblgaz" is a diversified enterprise engaged in, among other activities, agriculture and trade. Among the awardees are managers of various levels and ordinary workers.
Traditionally, honored guests attended the ceremony — Chairman of the Regional Council of Deputies Vladimir Terentyev and General Director of UP "Vitebskoblgaz", member of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Petr Shershen.
— I always visit "Vitebskoblgaz" with pleasure; the work process here is excellently organized, allowing the enterprise to achieve all its goals, — said Vladimir Vladimirovich. — Thank you for your work for the benefit of the Vitebsk region and the country as a whole.
— We worked successfully last year. Its results will be summarized later, but it can already be stated that the main forecast indicators have been met. This is the merit of the entire team; thanks to their dedicated work, there is a positive trend compared to the results of 2017, — reported Petr Shershen. — I hope that in the future we will also be able to successfully complete the tasks set. I also promise that we will always encourage the best specialists.
