In Vitebsk, the flag of "Slavianski Bazaar-2021" was raised at night with a light show

The Grand Prix winners of the "Vitebsk-2015" International Pop Song Performers Contest, Dimash Kudaibergen, and of the "Vitebsk-2020" International Children's Music Contest, Angelina Lomako, solemnly raised the flag of the XXX International Festival of Arts "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk".

This year, it was decided for the first time to hold the flag-raising ceremony at night - exactly at midnight. The ceremony on the grounds of the cultural and sports complex of the Summer Amphitheatre was enhanced by a light show performed by the youth theatre "Koleso", the choreography ensemble "Zorka", and the dance workshop "Gadget". This year, the flags of 33 participating countries will fly near the main stage of the festival.

Dimash Kudaibergen said that "Slavianski Bazaar" has become a special festival for him and other young performers. "I am glad to be here because I love Belarus, Vitebsk, and the festival very much. I have warm feelings for my now native stage," he said, adding that "Slavianski Bazaar" has its own style, it is established, and it does not need to imitate other music projects.

The second participant of the ceremony, Angelina Lomako, added that it is an honor for her to raise the festival flag. "We have just arrived from Minsk to Vitebsk, we haven't been here for a long time and we missed it very much. The city and the festival have become native to me," she said.
