The regional and city Honor Boards in Vitebsk have been updated

The solemn award ceremony for the winners of the competition, who achieved the best results in 2020 in the field of socio-economic development and saving fuel, energy, and material resources, was held on Victory Square in Vitebsk, where the Honor Board is located.

As noted at the ceremony by the First Deputy Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Oleg Matskevich, all major sectors of the region's economy operated with net profit and positive sales profitability, despite the difficult economic conditions of the past year. Growth in agricultural production (in agricultural organizations – 105.2%) and construction and installation work volumes (110.6%) was ensured, and a decline in freight turnover rates was prevented.

– Being here, on Victory Square, a sacred place for each of us, we pay tribute to the leaders – the winners of the labor competition based on the results of work for 2020, to all working people who make life richer and more meaningful, and our native Vitebsk region – more beautiful and stronger, – said Oleg Sergeevich.

The Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee recognized the city of Novopolotsk, the Pervomaisky district of the regional center, the Orshansky district, and 17 more enterprises, institutions, and organizations of the region. Among them are the Vitebsk Radio Components Plant "Monolit", "Allianceplast", "KimaBel", "LLK-NAFTAN", agricultural enterprises "Shaiterovo", "Polimir-agro", the branch "MazolovoGaz", as well as the Lepel Forestry and others.

The Vitebsk City Executive Committee recognized 20 enterprises, institutions, and organizations of the city as winners in 2020 and decided to place them on the Honor Board: OJSC "Dolomit", Vitebsk Tractor Spare Parts Plant, "Vitba" Confectionery Factory, "Zhilstroy", Vitebsk DSK, and others.

Being placed on the Honor Board is a mark of quality, believes the director of "KimaBel" LLC, Vadim Vasenkova, whose enterprise also received this honor:

– We plan to continue to surprise and conquer your hearts, to protect the economic security and reputation of our city of Polotsk, as well as the region and the country as a whole. I wish the Regional Executive Committee that it becomes increasingly difficult to choose the best of the best in the future. And I wish all the contenders for next year a sense of competition, striving for achievemand the achievement of the set goals and good luck.
