VTB (Belarus) opened a regional directorate in Vitebsk
The solemn opening ceremony of the branch was attended by the Chairman of the Regional Council of Deputies Vladimir Terentyev, Deputy Chairman of the Board of VTB (Belarus) Olga Atapovich, Director of the Bank's Regional Directorate Alexander Bestaev, and other officials.
– This is an important facility for the city and the region, as it is a world-renowned bank that operates in many countries, – emphasized Vladimir Terentyev. – We are interested in having such a banking institution that will attract investments for the implementation of investment projects. The bank has been operating in the region for several years, and we can only express words of gratitude from government representatives and legal entities that cooperate with it. In addition to its direct activities, VTB (Belarus) supports various initiatives, including social projects.
The bank is constantly developing its regional network, noted Olga Atapovich. In Vitebsk, the bank's office, which was previously located on Frunze Prospekt, has grown, its services have expanded, and the need to change the status of the banking institution arose – it transformed from an office into a regional directorate and settled at 16 Moskovsky Prospekt. The regional directorate in the city center will allow maintaining a high level of service for Vitebsk residents and strengthening client service for 2,000 corporate clients from the Vitebsk region, whose number increased by 16% last year. Individuals and businesses will be able to use all banking products and services here. Companies and enterprises will be able to open an account in the required currency, arrange a deposit, obtain credit financing, and connect a payroll project. The branch also allows setting up internet banking access for business and using the "Office in the Bank" service for independent management of financial instruments.
In the new branch, individuals can open deposits and loans, issue all types of cards, make payments, exchange currency, and subscribe to insurance products. Bank specialists are ready to advise clients on using remote services for 24/7 access to services and accounts.
Alexander Bestaev recalled that in 2022 alone, the Vitebsk branch was visited by about 100,000 clients. Therefore, 12 years after the VTB (Belarus) office appeared here, the bank is expanding its presence in the region by opening a full-fledged branch in the regional center.
Currently, there are 5 regional directorates, 18 additional offices, and over 50 credit centers of VTB Bank (Belarus) operating in the republic. In the Vitebsk region, branches are open in Vitebsk, Polotsk, and Orsha.
