A shop of the voluntary fire society «101» was opened in Vitebsk
The new store is located at Zhestkova St., 13a. On the opening day, many themed areas were organized here, where everyone could participate in prize draws and safety master classes. By the way, at one of them, city residents even extinguished a real fire.
Vitebsk became the fourth city in the republic to have a "101" store, where one can purchase autonomous fire alarms, fire extinguishers, and other fire safety equipment. There are over 100 types of goods on sale.
In addition, in the store, one can receive safety consultations not only from specialists of the Voluntary Fire Society but also from the virtual assistant "Alice," who will inform visitors about the types of services offered and the history of the voluntary fire society in Vitebsk, established in the 19th century.
– Our Republican State-Public Association (RGOO) performs not only production tasks but also state-significant ones. First and foremost, we combine efforts in preventing and eliminating emergencies and fires. Based on this, we create such retail outlets where everyone can purchase, for example, a fire alarm or a fire extinguisher, – noted the Chairman of the Republican Council of RGOO "BDPO" Alexander Kudryashov. – In addition to selling fire safety products, training on fire safety rules for both children and adults will be conducted here.
Alexander Kudryashov emphasized that the Vitebsk Voluntary Fire Society is the oldest in the republic, as in 2022 it celebrated its 150th anniversary, and not every organization can boast such longevity.
Therefore, it is no coincidence that the store features an exhibition showcasing the society's symbols, uniform insignia, chest and sleeve badges, headwear insignia, shoulder straps, epaulets, educational visual materials, and much more.
The store is open on weekdays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a one-hour lunch break (12:00 PM – 1:00 PM). Saturday and Sunday are days off.
