School fairs have opened in Vitebsk

Retail outlets in the Vitebsk region have already opened the season of active sales of school products, and specialized fairs will be held in all cities and district centers on the eve of the start of the academic year, on August 15 and 22, the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee's Department of Trade and Services reported.

Expanded trade in goods for schoolchildren started in the region on July 15 and will last until October 1, in accordance with the order of the regional executive committee. It is planned to hold 340 exhibitions-sales and expanded sales, including 25 with demonstrations of clothing and footwear models and promotional events. Goods necessary for the academic year can also be purchased at retail outlets where "corners for first-graders and schoolchildren" have been organized.

"In some cases, installment and credit purchase options are provided, and large families are also entitled to a discount to help those in need prepare their children for school," the department emphasized.

School fairs in the regional center will be held on Lenin Street, the Vitebsk City Executive Committee's Department of Trade and Services added. More than 30 manufacturing enterprises, trading organizations, and individual entrepreneurs will take part in the fairs. Buyers can expect a wide selection of domestic and foreign products. Residents and guests of the city will be able to choose the necessary stationery, clothing, footwear, and haberdashery items and prepare their children for the new academic year.

As specialists noted, no rush or shortage of school supplies and goods is expected, as business entities of all forms of ownership have a sufficient volume of necessary products.
