BelVEB Bank opened a regional branch in Vitebsk

Vitebsk hosted the grand opening of the new building of the regional branch of OJSC "Bank BelVEB", located at 11 Lenin Street.

The housewarming was celebrated as it should be: in a solemn atmosphere, the General Director of OOO "StroyTorgServis" Alexander Kishkovich handed over the symbolic key to the new building to the Chairman of the Board of OJSC "Bank BelVEB" Pavel Kallaur. Potential clients were able to receive consultations on all banking service issues on this day.

The total area of the new building is 2 thousand square meters. During its construction, one of the conditions of the city authorities was that the external appearance of the building should match the architectural appearance of the neighboring historical buildings. Therefore, the designers used elements of a mixed architectural style: stucco molding, bas-reliefs, stained glass windows.

— Of course, the residents of our city and specialists will give their assessment, but, in my opinion, everything turned out well, — noted the Chairman of the City Executive Committee Viktor Nikolaykin. — The design organizations and builders worked well. And it was not only the appearance of the city that benefited. After all, with the opening of the new building, good conditions have been created for bank employees, residents of Vitebsk. I am confident that Bank BelVEB has established itself in our city seriously and for a long time. And this means: new investments will appear for enterprises and organizations, which will lead to the development of the economy, and the replenishment of the regional and republican budgets.

The exterior of the bank building forms a single ensemble with the historical development of the city, while the interior is ultra-modern. The new office has implemented an "electronic queue" system, which will help avoid wasting clients' valuable time. The first floor houses service areas for individuals, cash desks and a depository, a self-service area with an ATM and a payment and information terminal, a VIP client service area, and a children's corner.

Also, equipment unique for our country has been installed here – an automatic safe. With its help, legal entities and individual entrepreneurs can deposit cash 24/7 on any day without the involvement of bank staff.

For individuals, the branch offers services for attracting deposits, lending, money transfers, issuing bank payment cards, currency exchange operations, accepting payments, selling measured ingots of precious metals, commemorative coins of the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus, insurance, and other operations.

The second floor is intended for servicing legal entities. The third floor houses the offices of managers and a conference hall.

Currently, the branch serves 388 legal entities, 464 individual entrepreneurs, and about 50,000 individuals. Andrey Sharobayko, Manager of the Vitebsk Regional Branch of OJSC "Bank BelVEB", emphasized that the priority direction at the moment is the development of Russian-Belarusian innovative projects and lending to medium-sized businesses.

In his speech, Pavel Kallaur, Chairman of the Board of OJSC "Bank BelVEB", emphasized that the bank is always ready to support initiatives that emerge in the Vitebsk region and ensure the implementation of the boldest projects.

— We support the development strategy of our partner, the enterprise "Belvest", which actively operates in Russia. A financing project for the Vitebsk Broiler Poultry Farm has been approved, — said Pavel Kallaur. — Attention is also paid to social projects. OJSC "Bank BelVEB" and the National Library of Belarus have launched a nationwide project to issue the first facsimile edition of the complete collection of books by Francysk Skaryna. Recently, a decision was made to allocate funds to support the republican festival-fair of rural workers "Dazhynki". I hope that the Supervisory Board will support our initiative.
