One of the most spacious fitness clubs in the Dvina region has opened in Vitebsk
On Saturday, the grand opening of the new fitness club "Atom", which is unique in many ways, took place in Vitebsk. The head of the department of sports and tourism of the regional executive committee, Vasily Zakharevich, took part in the opening ceremony.
- This fitness club is an excellent gift for fans of a healthy lifestyle, - noted Vasily Alekseevich. - In a spacious, bright room with an area of 1200 square meters, 100 exercise machines are installed. About 200 people can train simultaneously. I would also like to note the highly qualified trainers, instructors, and methodologists who work here.
Alexey Sirosh, three-time world champion, eight-time European powerlifting champion, and senior coach of the "Atom" fitness club, spoke about some other highlights of the new facility:
- We have tried to create maximum convenience for our clients. We have a unique ventilation and air conditioning system for sports halls in the city. It purifies the air, ozonates it, and allows you to set the temperature. There are also increased requirements for the cleanliness of the hall: cleaning will be done twice a day by a cleaning company, and a general cleaning is scheduled for weekends. The fitness club has large, spacious locker rooms with excellent showers. Due to the pandemic, sanitizers with disinfectants are placed throughout the hall.
On the opening day, a DJ played at "Atom", contests for visitors with prize drawings were held. And there was a surge of people wishing to engage in sports.
- It's great that there is a large area here, - says Marina Shinkevich. – There are many exercise machines, including treadmills, so you don't have to wait for them to be free. After all, with a standard hall area, the exercise machines are often occupied and queues form for them. In general, I am a fan of a healthy lifestyle, I do sports at home on my own. And I train in gyms 2-3 times a week.
