Vitebsk celebrated the 75th anniversary of the vocational education system

The staff and students of the Vitebsk State Polytechnic Vocational Lyceum celebrated the 75th anniversary of the vocational education system.

The Vitebsk Regional Palace of Children and Youth became the venue for the event. In the foyer of the institution, an exhibition was organized, showcasing the lyceum's achievements (certificates, diplomas), students' handicraft masterpieces (models of various dishes made from artificial materials), and allowing visitors to browse the institution's history book and leave good wishes.

Veterans of the staff, friends, and partners came to share the celebration with the honorees, including Oksana Tolopilo, head of the "Vitebskiye Produkty" store No. 42, Irina Ivanova, head of the HR department of OJSC "Nika," Vasily Sidorov, deputy director of the agricultural production cooperative "Olgovskoye," and many others.

The lyceum director, Viktor Kuznetsov, delivered a welcoming speech to the audience. He presented honorary certificates to the best teachers of the institution. Labor veterans were also recognized. 17 individuals were awarded the commemorative badge "75 years to the vocational education system." In honor of the holiday, talented students, of whom there are many at the lyceum, prepared a wonderful concert.

— We are meeting this date with dignity, — noted Tatyana Zaitseva, deputy director of the lyceum. — We have a strong teaching staff, including teachers of the highest and first categories, highly qualified vocational training masters, and wonderful students who today aspire to become skilled chefs, confectioners, cooks, salespeople, builders, in short, a worthy successor generation.
