In Vitebsk, the memory of a KGB officer who died during a special operation was honored
In Vitebsk, the memory of a Belarusian State Security Committee officer who died during a special operation conducted in Minsk the previous day was honored.
Representatives of local authorities, law enforcement agencies, and the public of the Vitebsk region laid flowers at the memorial to employees of internal affairs bodies and internal troops of the region who died in the line of duty. This memorial is a tribute not only to police officers but also to all law enforcement officers who gave their lives in the fight against crime, the press service of the KGB Directorate for the Vitebsk Region reported. The department also emphasized that similar events were held across the country to demonstrate society's deep respect for such actions and support for the family of the deceased.
