The results of the competition "Sochi. The Olympic History of Belarusians" will be summed up in Vitebsk
With the aim of developing the creative potential of the younger generation and a deeper study of issues related to the development of the Olympic movement, the National Olympic Committee of Belarus Representation in the Vitebsk Region (with the support of the Education, Sports and Tourism Departments of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee) organized the regional creative competition "Sochi. The Belarusian Olympic History".
Representatives of educational and sports institutions from 16 regions of the Vitebsk region took part in the competition. The jury reviewed over 500 works (films, presentations, poems, essays, works of fine and decorative applied arts, musical creativity).
On May 2, at 12:00 PM, the grand summing-up of the competition results in all nominations and the opening of the exhibition of its participants' works will take place at the Vitebsk Art Museum (Lenin St., 32). The exhibition will be open until May 22. Everyone can visit it and participate in the audience vote to determine the audience award.
During the opening of the exhibition, poems will be recited, and films dedicated to the participation of representatives of the Republic of Belarus in the Olympic Games in Sochi will be shown.
