In Vitebsk, talented creative youth were awarded prizes by the regional Council of Deputies
16 young talents – gifted, hardworking, responsible – became recipients of the award from the regional Council of Deputies. For these creative young people, this event is more than significant, as their achievements are not recognized at a high level every day.
According to Vladimir Terentyev, Chairman of the Regional Council of Deputies, the award is not just a prestigious prize, but also significant financial support for gifted young people.
— Much is being done in the republic and in the Vitebsk region today to support talented youth. We have something to be proud of! We have very talented youth who need to be supported. This award was established for this purpose in 2014. During this time, about 60 students of children's art schools and more than 35 students of secondary specialized educational institutions of culture and art have become awardees. By the way, the geography of the awardees is growing every year. Among the awarded young people there are representatives not only from Vitebsk, but also from Dokshytsy, Lepel, Shumilino, Orsha and other regions, — stated Vladimir Terentyev.
