A concert by the band "YARILOV ZNOY" will be held in Vitebsk.
It so happened that for many (especially young people), folk music is associated with something boring, "musty," irrelevant – a kind of grandmother's chest in musical art. The Moscow band "YARILOV ZNOY" shatters such unjustified notions, which, despite their young age (the collective is not yet two years old), has already won its audience.
"YARILOV ZNOY" is an extraordinary, vibrant project that combines traditional folk and rock ballads in its work, the original sound of folk instruments, interesting arrangements, and, of course, magnificent vocals. The band has two frontmen: Alexey PETRUKHIN and Alexander SHCHERBAKOV, who "shone" in the popular music show "FACTOR A" (Russia). The group managed to bypass many contestants, charm the jury (headed by Alla PUGACHEVA), and win, although not the first, but a very respectable fourth place.
The tour schedule of the band "YARILOV ZNOY" also includes the city on the Dvina: the concert will take place on September 19 at 19:00 in the "VITEBSK" concert hall. The program includes not only folk songs in original arrangements but also original compositions by Alexey PETRUKHIN and Alexander SHCHERBAKOV, continuing the traditions of Russian song culture.
