A cultural and sports festival dedicated to Railway Worker's Day will be held in Vitebsk

On August 4, 2013, at 11:00 AM, the traditional cultural and sports festival dedicated to Railway Worker's Day will be held in the Railway Workers' Culture and Recreation Park (Nekrasova Street).

The festival program includes:

- A concert program featuring ensembles from the cultural and sports center of the Vitebsk branch of Belarusian Railway (the exemplary ensemble “Ladushki”, the People's Choir of Railway Workers, performers - Feofan Metla, Pavel Diklov, the accordionist duo “Brothers Vorobyov”, the ballroom dance ensemble “Merengue”, the youth folk instrument orchestra, etc.), guests from Minsk – the Honored Amateur Ensemble “Ternitsa”, as well as the best pop performers and ensembles of the city and region.

- A competition for the best accordionist “Play, Accordion!” with prizes and gifts for the winners; - a dance and entertainment program for children “Little Train from Romashkovo”;

- A friendly football match among the winners of competitions of the Vitebsk railway hub; - a performance by model aircraft enthusiasts from the “Young Technician” Club of the cultural and sports center of the Vitebsk branch of Belarusian Railway;

- Demonstration performances of service dogs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Security Department; - sports program (competitions in checkers and chess, kettlebell lifting, table tennis, pull-ups, darts, tug-of-war);

- Flower exhibition of garden and vegetable associations of the Vitebsk branch of the Belarusian Railway;

- Exhibition of works by members of the "Young Technician" Club of the cultural and sports center of the Vitebsk branch of the Belarusian Railway;

- Exhibition and sale of handicrafts by artisans of the State Institution "Cultural and Historical Complex "Golden Ring of Vitebsk "Dvina";

- Performance by the historical reenactment club "Nagalfar"

A mobile mini amusement park "World of Entertainment" is open for participants and guests of the festival.
