The 10th International Medical Conference will be held in Vitebsk

Good relationships between doctor and patient are built on the principles of mutual trust and respect. This is the secret to successful recovery, it determines the quality of life of patients and the effectiveness of medical professionals. Issues of medical ethics are becoming increasingly relevant with the advent of new medical technologies, the development of practical healthcare, and the threat of losing traditional moral guidelines in modern society.

Medical professionals and clergy from Belarus, the Vatican, Italy, China, Poland, Russia, Turkmenistan, and Sri Lanka will once again gather in Vitebsk for the X International Medical Conference to discuss issues of bioethics, prevention of alcoholism and drug addiction, spiritual aspects of combating abortion and euthanasia, and prevention and treatment of HIV and tuberculosis.

The conference is organized by the Vitebsk Diocese of the Roman Catholic Church in the Republic of Belarus, the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee's Healthcare Department, the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee's Department for Religious and National Affairs, and Vitebsk State Medical University.
