The XXVIII International Ballroom Dancing Competition will be held in Vitebsk
Traditionally, the organizers of "Vitebsk Snowflake" are the Belarusian DanceSport Federation, the regional executive committee, the Vitebsk city executive committee, the "Vitebsk" Cultural Center, and the Public Association "Fest" Sports Dance Club. Children's, junior, and adult couples will take to the dance floor of the Vitebsk Concert Hall on January 19 and 20. Spectators will be able to see the Latin American and European programs performed by them. The youngest participants are 7 years old, while the older ones will showcase a master class in the "Seniors" nomination. Duets with world qualifications will also perform in the dance tournament. International class judges will determine the best.
It is worth noting that the geography of participants has significantly expanded this year. Vitebsk will be visited not only by representatives from Russia, Ukraine, and the Baltic states, but also by dancers from Finland, the Czech Republic, Spain, Turkey, Greece, and other countries.
– The concept of organizing the tournament has changed slightly. We aimed to enable dance couples from as many countries as possible to visit our city and see its beauty, – explained the initiator of the festival, head of the Public Association "Fest" Sports Dance Club, Natalia Tovstasheva.
