Maslenitsa festivities will be held in Vitebsk

We invite guests and residents of Vitebsk on March 2, 2014, from 11:00 to 16:00 to the Soviet Army Park for the festive theatrical celebration "Maslenitsa".

Program includes:

• sports competitions, games;
demonstration program of horse riding "On the Wings of Pegasus";
concert, entertainment, and dance programs;
theatrical performance at the Maslenitsa bonfire.

For the convenience of citizens, additional public transport units will be organized from 10:00 to 17:00 on the following routes:

No. 12 "Medcenter – Ulanovichi 2";

No. 106 "Bilevo 1 – Ulanovichi 2";

"Bilevo 1 – Soviet Army Park";

"Kommunisticheskaya St. - Soviet Army Park";

"Station – Soviet Army Park".

On the same day from 12:00 to 16:00

the folk celebration "Maslenitsa" awaits guests and residents of the city on the territory of the cultural and historical complex "Golden Ring of Vitebsk "Dvina".

Festive celebrations will also take place in the city's neighborhoods:

March 1 from 12:00 to 14:00 – on Voins-Internatsionalistov St. at the stage area of the Educational Institution "Children's Art School No. 3 of Vitebsk "Maladik";

at the State Institution "Palace of Culture of the urban-type settlement Rubа";

March 2 from 11:00 to 15:00 – in the square near the Cultural and Leisure Center "Pervomaisky".
